The Disney and Miko partnership brings Pixar Characters from Toy Story, Moana and Frozen alive on the children’s content platform

The magical worlds of Disney and Pixar have arrived on the Miko 3 robot. The collaboration is a historic first for the consumer robotics space and the latest indication that AI will play a growing role in the future of kid’s entertainment.

Miko, a consumer robotics company specializing in kids’ education and entertainment, unveiled its Disney collaboration to customers in more than 140 countries. Animated storybooks featuring characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana, Frozen, The Lion King, Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story, Big Hero 6, Coco, and more worlds of Disney and Pixar are available now on the bestselling Miko 3 robot.

“Bringing the imaginative worlds of Disney and Pixar to our platform represents a big step in kids robotics,” said Sneh Vaswani, Miko Co-founder and CEO. “Miko is thrilled to be the first robotics platform to have such an innovative collaboration with Disney, and we look forward to raising the benchmark for kids’ engagement together.”

After being selected as the only Asia-based startup participant in Disney Accelerator, a program that connects technology companies with the expertise and resources of The Walt Disney Company, Miko has become the first company to host an official Disney app on a kid’s robot platform.

The new additions to Miko’s content library include audiobooks and read-along stories with animated visuals. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia,” “Tangled”, and Disney and Pixar’s “Ratatouille” stories have also been added to the lineup of Disney content available on the Miko 3 robot.

The Disney app will continue to evolve with more experiences and interactivity, Vaswani said.
