Klarna is opening its first brick-and-mortar retail pop-up shop, ‘Klarna Oasis’ in Los Angeles.
The “immersive shopping experience” is focused on supporting the BNPL company’s various mission-driven merchant partners.
Over the coming weekend, consumers can shop for exclusive discounts from brands including Lunya, Rebecca Minkoff and Christy Dawn.
The pop-up shop will highlight conscious fashion and clean beauty and is located on Melrose Avenue. The company’s interest-free Pay in 4 option will be available at checkout.
Shoppers can also donate gently used shoes and clothing in exchange for an on-site discount in partnership with Soles4Souls.
In addition, the company is hosting a fireside chat on the importance of regenerative agriculture within the sustainable fashion movement. Speakers include Klarna, global head of partner success Raji Behal, Christy Dawn, chief executive and co-founder Aras Baskauskas and professional soccer player Jasmyne Spencer.
“We’re excited to bring the smooth Klarna shopping experience to life for the first time in Los Angeles, spotlighting mission-driven merchant partners that support a range of important causes from sustainability in fashion to clean beauty,” Behal said.
“At Klarna, we realize we have a responsibility to help drive positive change towards a better future and providing our consumers unique access to shop more mindfully is just one of the many ways we are working to make a difference.”
