More than half, 66%, of US consumers are making a retail resolution this year to change their shopping habits.
The change could be undertaking a more thoughtful approach (33%) to taking more time, according to the annual Emarsys unPredictions report. A fifth of shoppers aim to shop more ethically in 2022.
The study of 2,000 Americans also revealed 21% want to buy less often to avoid overconsumption this year, with an additional 19% looking to invest in higher-quality items that last longer.
